Spring has come!

Spring has come!

Spring view of the Riv.Kamo flowing through Kyoto City. I photpgaphed the scenery about the people enjoying the cherry blossoms in full bloom. In this work, I am conscious of the genre painting of traditional Japanese art.

darker and darker

darker and darker

This work consists of photographs taken on the west bank of the Kamo River flowing through Kyoto City in the summer of 2015. From the evening to the night, I photographed the gradual darkening time and the lively scene of the riverside.

I focused on "flow of time" created by combining multiple photographs.

СНЕГ

СНЕГ

It is a four-part work about the snow scape along the Fontanka River flowing through St. Petersburg (Russia). The title "СНЕГ" (Sneak) means snow in Russian. In the winter of 2016, I participated in an artist-in-residence program in St. Petersburg and took a picture. It is the longest work at the moment.

SNOW

SNOW

This work was exhibited at the Sapporo Odori Underground Gallery 500m Museum in 2015. It consists of two snowscapes of River Toyohira flowing through Sapporo City. These two scenes that capture "snowing" and "snowed" are paired.

RIVERSIDE

RIVERSIDE

This is the first work of the project "RIVERSIDE", which was exhibited as an installation on the Sky Way of the Kyoto Station Building in 2005. In this time, I re-edited including the downstream part which cut off because of lack of the installation space in 2005. This work is about the early summer scenery of Kamogawa.
